SPES/W-SPES Memorandum of Agreement for CAs

As described in the Interoperability section,
the acceptance of a Certification Authority, by the final user, can be based, on the list contained in the so called W-SPES CA Trusted List.
This trusted list is continously updated according to the requests coming both from end-users and CAs.
The application and procedure, for a CA, in order to be in cluded in the trusted list and in all the other W-SPES interoperability tools, is exactly that that has been defined in the previous SPES projects exactly that that has been defined in the previous SPES project.
It starts with the signing of a Memorandum of Agreemend by which W-SPES team and CA define all the obbligations necessary to perform the evaluation process.
The figure below describes the CA evaluation process as it was defined by the SPES project team.
